Nobody Listened to my song

To all who believe in what they do and didn't give up.

I had a band in high school. As a Chinese, pursuing a career in music was not a choice, especially if you are good at math and science. My parents stopped me right there and then. I also loved a few rock bands at the time. I only knew that they were struggling and not many people in China listened to rock. Life got busy after college and I stopped listening music. I came cross a show in 2023 while I was trying to find some background sound while painting. My favorite bands from my high school time were in the show. Two of them were eliminated early in the show and one got first place. Their music has evolved and they have been true to themselves during all those years. I was crying though out that show. I am thrilled that I got to pursue art and explore worlds with you now.
